This Sunday is Good Shepherd Sunday, a day when we celebrate that Jesus is our leader, protector, provider… all the things (and more) that a Shepherd is to his sheep. For us at Church of the Good Shepherd, this day has personal meaning. We are a church who was formed in order to reach those who are like “sheep without a Shepherd,” and we ourselves are people keenly aware of our need for Jesus. Today, we look at John 10 and re-examine what it means to have Jesus as our shepherd.
