Real Hope for Those Who Need It

Jesus's baptism is the first public act of his ministry, and through Christ's baptism God brings hope to his people and all who hear or read these words in Matthew 3:13-17.  What had been somewhat secret up to this point in Jesus's life (Matthew 1-2) is now on public display, and the announcement that all of God's promises are being kept and realized through Jesus is beginning to be made known to the world.  This truth, when we really see it, will give us hope for ourselves and for this world, no matter what dark times we may face.  And understand this hope, nourishing and living it, is what it means to be a Christian.

Hi Will! been browsing tuohhgrt and just some comments;- like the functionality but missed a Home button because once you are drilled down in another area it was not intuitive to click on the Recent Posts button to get back to this main page. Navigation is important - I hope the next event is not in 11869 days!!! LOL that would be too long to wait!- what is the Home page going to look like after you take down you intro letter?- the other areas that Pastor George wants incorporated into the site, will they be included in the buttons down the right side of the page?- will you be making the background more visual, like using some kind of an appropriate wallpaper? It needs more colour.Well, maybe I might think of something else with increased use, but that does it of now! Blessings, Cyndy
